The Popular Show Campaign 4 Introduces the Soldiers Party

Ever since the premiere of the fourth campaign, fresh DM Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept viewers on edge with rich lore, a wide array of personalities, and a gripping narrative including divine entities, demons, and malevolent powers increasing in strength within the city.

Warning: Key plot points for the third episode of the new season lie ahead.

The Warrior Group Revealed

The third episode concluded with a huge suspense moment and revealed the first table of adventurers who will separate from the primary party to embark on their own adventure, apart from the remaining groups.

The combat-focused team consists of Teor (portrayed by Travis Willingham), Thimble (Laura), Tyranny (the cast member), Wicander (the player), and Kattigan Vale (Robbie).

Why Split the Party?

Given 13 cast members, it was evident from the start that having everyone at the same party would be unfeasible.

This explains, the opening chapters of this story serve as an Prelude, weaving together the characters’ stories before dividing into three smaller tables: Soldiers, Schemers, and Seekers.

The Nature of the Warrior Group

Per the DM, the Soldiers table is for participants who enjoy a traditionally charged fight-heavy gameplay experience where peaceful solutions are scarce.

At first glance, figures such as the hesitant healer Wicander might seem unsuited, but the actions of the latest installment make it clear why these specific adventurers are perfectly fit for the combat party.

Why They Must Go

For one thing, the party has a clear idea where to go next after a brutal first encounter with the antagonists.

Casimir of Thjazi—whose death initiated the narrative’s action—used the foes for his own means, entering the hidden lair, assaulting Thimble, and swiping all the magical artifacts to auction.

The traitor then cleared his debts and ran away to a fortified location in the northern region, above the urban center, with Cyd pursuing him.

Character Drivers

Secondly, each member has a individual motive to leave the city the metropolitan area:

  • The rogue, as the companion and closest confidant, seeks retribution.
  • The knowledgeable figure is familiar with the region and cautions that it is a nasty environment.
  • Tyranny and Wicander, having defied his family’s wishes to eliminate the target and instead freed him, have no safe haven.
  • Yet, their reputation as important members in House Halovar could help the team enter locations they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Moreover, Teor vowed a life debt to The savior for his rescue and will now follow him anywhere.

Pursued by Authorities

In addition, all of them are sought by the rulers that govern Dol-Makjar for a multiple motives, making lingering locally no longer safe:

  • The rogue and Kattigan are known criminals.
  • Tyranny and Wicander betrayed the influential house and the horde of evil beings they are aligned with.
  • The target is targeted for elimination by the family.

This results in them little choice but to travel to Timmony in quest for the antagonist.

What’s Next?

According to the latest episode’s Cooldown, we learn that the combat party won’t be around in the upcoming installment, leaving the other eight players to form the Seekers and Schemers parties.

Viewers can expect discovering which players will be where in the season’s final introductory chapter, released on next week.
